What is included

Language editing focuses on refining your existing text. This process includes:

Correcting spelling errors and typographical mistakes
Improving grammar and sentence structure
Ensuring a consistent academic tone
Correcting capitalisation and punctuation
Splitting up overly long paragraphs that contain too many ideas
Identifying and flagging redundancy, inconsistencies, discrepancies, and repeated text
Attending to basic formatting (for example, consistent font, font size, margins, line spacing, and checking heading numbering)

What is not included

Fact-checking
Rewriting or content writing
Providing detailed comments, feedback, or developmental guidance (these are provided through my academic writing consultancy services)

Email your document, along with any supporting documentation (such as style guides or journal guidelines).
Indicate the deadline by which the editing must be completed.
I will review my availability and provide a quote.
Once confirmed, I will advise on available dates, estimated turnaround time, and when you can expect the edited document.
Editing will commence once full payment or a 50% deposit has been received.
The edited manuscript will be returned on the agreed date, with all changes clearly shown using Track Changes.
Editing is a once-off process and does not include multiple rounds of revision.
Substantial revisions made after completion of the editing may incur an additional fee.
