About
I am an academic editor with over fifteen years of professional editing experience. Having served in a range of roles within the university environment — including tutor, lecturer, academic coordinator, programme coordinator, head of department, and external moderator and examiner — I bring a well-informed and practical understanding of academic standards, expectations, and writing practices.
My personal qualifications include a PhD in Philosophy, Master’s in Theology, Honours Bachelor of Arts (in Psychology), and Honours Bachelor of Theology. This interdisciplinary background allows me to work confidently across a wide range of academic disciplines.
Since 2011, I have collaborated with clients in South Africa and internationally, editing theses, dissertations, journal articles, research proposals, books, book chapters, conference papers, institutional documents, and government reports. My professional experience also includes writing university reports and policy documents.
